Antipasto’s By Derose Gourmet Meat Fish & Deli: A Delightful Italian Eatery in San Jose

I love going to restaurants that exceed your expectations and this is definitely one of those. As I was waiting in a long line to get to the counter to order my food, I changed my mind nothing short of a few times because of all the great plates I was seeing around me. Next time I go, I want to pick out the steak from the meat counter and have them cook it. The quantity is huge, the price is reasonable, and the service and food are great!

I went for the first time recently to meet a friend that recommended it. It’s kind of a combination market/restaurant. You order deli counter style, and there are tables scattered around. They have a full menu of Italian specialties. The ravioli are excellent, as are the steaks and just about everything else. You won’t be disappointed.

Delicious Rib Eye Steak dinner meal with cheese and beef ravs on the side. Their steak is so tender and flavorful! Their food is always freshly made and bomb!!! It's definitely worth the wait in the line. You won't be disappointed with their authentic raviolis they're so good! Also had the fresh made to order Roast Beef Sandwich. Simply made with fresh ingredients just puts it over the top. If you haven't checked them out yet your seriously missing out!

Our first time In this little gem, they welcomed us so nicely and the atmosphere is so cool. They gave us a tour of what they offer, how to order what specials they offered and had so much fresh food. We got a sandwich and hot food sandwich. Did not disappoint at all! The bread is so fresh, easy to bite down and the sandwiches were a good size to keep us full. They offered free water while you wait, fresh lemon water which was cold and refreshing. They left such an impression on us, with outdoor seating and delicious food. Recommend the meat ball sandwich and a custom sandwich.

A treasure of the community, they’ve served us food for a long time. I love the vibe, that they’re family-owned and run, and the variety of Italian foods to buy. I always pick up some of the Italian fruit gummies as a treat. Foodwise my favorite is their steak sandwich; it’s simple but hearty and done right. Tri-tip sandwich is also good. They make their own ravioli by hand; it’s small and so soft that it often falls apart on the fork, but it’s tasty. I also love that when you buy a steak dinner, you can get penne pasta as a side! Just beware that parking is tight, so you may have to park on the residential street nearby. And they close at 5pm, so get your dinners early — there’s usually a line!

Ribs were excellent! Tender, juicy and full of flavor! The sauce tho!! YES! Parking is tight and the line can get long but it's ALWAYS WORTH IT!!

4/5 for the tri rip sandwich. Was gonna get the steak sandwich but got recommended to try the tri tip instead. It was solid but not anything special. Waited in line for 40 mins though on a Saturday afternoon which was kinda annoying but expected. Would come again to try different stuff.
